The Brain Science Collaborative Innovation Center was established, comprising the following institutions:Institute of Brain and Brain-Inspired Science, Shandong University, Qilu Hospital of Shandong University,School of Information Science and Engineering,School of Control Science and Engineering,School of Software, School of Basic Medicine, School of Mathematics, School of Public Health and School of Nursing, United Shandong Zhongyang Health Technology Group Co., Ltd. Shandong Digital Human Technology Co., Ltd., as well as the University of Bergen, Norway and the University of Southern California, USA.

The Brain Science Collaborative Innovation Center brings together elite talented teams from home and abroad, establishingand improvingtechnologies and translational platforms for brain structure and function, brain disease prevention, brain-like intelligence and brain-computer integration. This will result in effective integration of multi-disciplinary superior resources,in order toleadthedevelopment of high-tech industriesinour provincesuchasbrain disease diagnosis and treatment, brain-like intelligence and brain-computer interface.
