Ph.D. in engineering, Associate Professor and Master Tutor, School of Information Science and Engineering of Shandong University. He is currently Associate Dean of the Institute of Brain and Brain-spired Science, Shandong University, IEEE Member, Member of China Computer Federation, Corresponding Member of Technical Committee on Artificial Intelligence and Pattern Recognition of China Computer Federation, Member of the Council of Shandong Artificial Intelligence Society.

In 2011, he obtained a Ph.D. in engineering from the Computer Department of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He has done a lot of work in the theoretical research of machine learning algorithms, speech signals, and biomedical signal processing. In the same year, he startedwork in the School of Information Science and Engineering of Shandong University. He has presided over and participated in the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Shandong Province Key Innovation Project, Shandong Provincial Young Scientists Award Fund (Doctoral Fund), National Postdoctoral Research Fund, Ministry of Education Doctoral Fund, Jinan City Star Program, Jinan University Independent Innovation Program and School-level Independent Innovation Fund. As a main member, he won the first prize of Shandong University Excellent Research Achievement Award and Shandong Provincial Teaching Achievement Award. From 2011 to 2017, he visited the Advanced Brain Signal Processing Laboratory of the Japan Institute of Brain Physics and Chemistry, and the Department of Radiology, North Carolina University of Chapel Hill School of Medicine, mainly engaged in tensor decomposition theory, deep learning and magnetic resonanceand EEG applications.

His current research interests includes machine learning theory and applications in a big data environment, medical image processing, biomedical signal processing, and brain-like computing theory.In recent years, he has published more than 20 articles in international journals and conferences such as INT J NEURAL SYST, IEEE-ACM T AUDIO SPE, J COMPUT SCI TECHNOL,NEUROCOMPUTING, EURASIP J AUDIO SPEE, ICASSP, WCCI,and he hasapplied for multiple invention patents.
