On November 7, 2020, the Brain Science Sub-forum of 2020 4th World Life Science and Technology Conference was successfully held in Sheraton Jinan Hotel. The Sub-forum was jointly sponsored by The Institute of Brain and Brain-Inspired Sciences of Shandong University and The Neurosurgery Department of Qilu Hospital of Shandong University. The theme of the conference was "Exploration, integration and Innovation" and the purposewas "Exploring the nature of life and caring for human health". The conference discussed cutting-edge issues such as the intersection between life science, engineering and informatics, and the application and transformation of life science and technology.

The research in brain and brain-like sciences is the hotspot and difficulty of human science and technology explorationand is the core and foundation of the intelligent age. It is related to the future of industrial upgrading and intelligent manufacturing in our country. The forum invited well-known experts in brain and brain science research to give special lectures on the frontier and hot topics in relevant fields.

Nearly one hundred people participated in the brain science forum. The conference provideda rare opportunity for researchers to learn and communicate in the field of brain science inside and outside of the province. It was of great significance for promoting clinical and basic research of brain science in our country, benchmarking international frontiers, and accelerating the transformation of future results.
