Frits Alan Thorsen,1964年出生于挪威,现任挪威卑尔根大学讲席教授、生物医学系副主任、分子影像中心主任,是山东省“外专双百计划”外国专家,同时也是癌症转化研究团队的重点课题组癌症转移研究组的负责人。研究团队在针对脑转移瘤的发生发展和临床治疗等研究方向上取得了卓越的成绩,本人也被认为是脑转移瘤临床前研究的世界前沿顶尖专家之一。2008年与山东大学齐鲁医院开展了实质性的合作,目前是山东大学联合培养研究生海外导师。曾获挪威科研委员会、挪威癌症协会和欧洲委员会的系列重大资助。共培养硕士生33人,博士生10人,博士后3人,发表SCI论文60余篇。

研究成果
2010-2014年,作为卑尔根大学与卢森堡卫生研究院博士培养项目主要负责人,开发了新的动物多模成像技术来研究胶质瘤侵袭、血管生成、肿瘤代谢及治疗反应等特性,目前致力于利用多模成像技术进行恶性脑肿瘤的新治疗策略临床转化研究。
