The team of Prof. Li has been engaged in basic and clinical research on brain tumorsfor a long timeand has accumulated rich experience in the fields of comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of craniocerebral trauma, cerebrovascular disease,andthe fields ofstereotactic&functionalneurosurgery. The team successfully carried out a number of difficult, critical and innovative operations, such as CT-guided stereotactic surgery, brainstem tumor microsurgery, intracranial and extracranial communication tumor resection, microelectrode monitoring stereotactic radiofrequency technology for the treatment of Parkinson’s disease, neuroendoscopic surgery, neuronavigation surgery, etc.

The team has a strong scientific research expertise. Prof. Li has received funding from the “985” Discipline Construction Fund, the National Science and Technology Research Program, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Shandong Science and Technology Major Project (Emerging Industries) and the Shandong University Disciplinary Peak Program (Emerging Interdisciplinary Disciplines). Prof. Li has launched a number of interdisciplinary research projects which have achieved a number of remarkable results. The group has published more than 200 papers in well-known journals nationally and internationally.
