M.D., Chief Physician, Second-Level Professor of Shandong University, Doctoral Tutor, Taishan Scholar Special Expert. He is the Dean of the Institute of Brain and Brain-inspired Science, Shandong University, Director of the Shandong Provincial Center for Nervous System Disease Prevention and Technology. He is also the Vice Chairman of the Neurosurgery Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, the Deputy Director of Jinan Microecological Biomedicine Shandong Laboratory, the Vice Chairman of Branch of Basic & Clinical Research in Neurosurgery, Chinese Neuroscience Society. He serves as Deputy Editor in chief of Chinese Journal of Neurosurgery, Editor of Journal of ClinicalNeuroscience and more than ten other national professional journals.

Dr Li has been engaged in basic and clinical research of brain tumors for a long time and has accumulated rich experience in the fields of comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of craniocerebral trauma and cerebrovascular disease, function and stereotactic neurosurgery. His group successfully carried out a number of difficult and critical and innovative operations, including CT stereotactic surgery, brainstem tumor microsurgery and intracranial and external tumor resection, microelectrode monitoring stereotactic radiofrequency technology for Parkinson's disease, neuroendoscopic surgery and neuronavigation surgery.

Dr Lihas a strong scientific research strength.Hehas received funding from the “985” discipline construction fund, the National Science and Technology Research Program, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Shandong Science and Technology Major Project (Emerging Industries) and the Shandong University Disciplinary Peak Program (Emerging Interdisciplinary Disciplines). He has launched a number of interdisciplinary research projects which have achieved a number of remarkable results. He and his group has published more than 200 papers in well-known journals at home and abroad.
